Hello. Today I am sharing my take on the current Lawn Fawn sketch challenge.
To start my card I took an A2 sized card panel and stamped then heat embossed the bulbs using Wow embossing powder I used a bulb from the Turn Me On stamp set and one of the decorations from the Joy Into The Woods set.
I took Distress Oxide ink in Squeezed Lemonade and using a small blending brush added a light amount of ink around each of the bulbs. I then coloured the bulbs using my Copic markers and added a little white colouring pencil over the top.
Next I stamped and coloured images from the I Like You A Lotl stamp set along with some presents from a Christmas set. I then cut these all out.
I stamped the sentiment from the On The Beach stamp set on to a strip of back card and heat embossed in white. I added a small strip of patterned striped paper underneath for a little more interest.
I die cut my card panel using the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle A2 size die and used liquid glue and foam pads to add some dimension. I decided to add some splatters to the background. As I had already adhered my images I simply lay a piece of masking paper over my images to protect them from the splatters. I adhered some raindrops from Little things by Lucy’s cards to finish.
