The Altenew Goldfish Pond stamp set is one of my new favourites. It is so unique.
To start the card I made the inky background. I took a piece of A2 sized watercolour card and smooshed Altenew inks on to a slick surface. I then spritzed the ink with water and smooshed my card into it. I then dried this ink with my heat tool before adding more ink in different. shades and colours to build up the layers.

Once my inky background was completely dry I took the solid lily pad and leaf images and stamped them over the background using Altenew Bamboo and Parrot inks,
Next I cut my inked panel down to 4 x 5 1/4 inches and die cut a circle window in the centre. I took the inside of the die cut circle and put it back where it had been cut from and added some adhesive to just the circle and placed the panel on to my A2 white card base. This will adhere the circle in the correct place making it easy to line up when building the shaker card.
I layered a piece of acetate over the circle window using liquid glue.
Next I stamped and layered my fish images on white card. I added a little grey artist marker to add some depth to the fish then fussy cut them along the black outline. I went along the edges of the cut images with a black marker to define the edges.
I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on to black card with white embossing powder, heat set and trimmed down to size.
I adhered the fish and the sentiment to the front of the card panel and added foam tape to the back of the panel. Making sure to add a foam frame all around the window area so the sequins do not escape!
I brushed the shaker area with an anti static powder tool then placed some sequins over the circle on the card base. I chose colours that matched my inky background. I released the foam tape then attached it card panel to complete the card.
I hope you are inspired to make a shaker card with you stamps.
