Halloween shaker card

Hello. Today I am sharing a card for Time For Tea Designs, using the new release Halloween dies.

To start the card I die cut an A6 card panel and blended Distress Oxide inks in wilted violet, picked raspberry and carved pumpkin over this. I added splatters of metallic watercolour for some texture and interest. I placed the ghost shaped dies on the panel and run through my die cutting machine to leave four ghost shaped holes.

I did consider putting vellum ghosts over the windows but decided against that in the end

Next I die cut some grass from black card stock along with the word Halloween and adhered them to the panel. I stamped the word happy and some black stars.

I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the ghosts and added foam tape to the back of the panel and around the ghosts to leave pockets of space for the sequins.

I placed white sequins into the ghost windows then adhered a card base to the panel. I added eyes and a mouth to each ghost to complete the card.

Thanks for dropping by and Happy Halloween!
