One Layer Scene Card

Hello. Today I am sharing a one layer card using stamps from Altenew.

This card is part of the Altenew AECP. The class was all about masking. This is a technique I love to use to make one layer cards.

To start the card I arranged my stamps on my card panel of Neenah 80lb solar white card. As this card involved lots of stamping I used my Misti stamping tool to make sure everything stamped nicely and in place.

I took Memento Tuxedo black ink so I could use my Copic markers to colour the images. I stamped the images that would be at the front of the scene. I then added masks on to these images using post it note paper.

I then stamped the next images behind. Each time making a mask before stamping the next layer.

Once I had finished all the stamping I removed all the masks and my image was ready to colour. I used Copic Markers for this.

As the focus was on the masking and colouring I kept the rest of the card simple. I stamped a sentiment from the Altenew ‘Heaerfelt Sentiments’ stamp set. I then trimmed the panel down and adhered it to my card base to complete the card.

Take care for now.

Katrina.
