Let’s ketchup card

Hello.

Today I am sharing a card that’s a bit different to my usual scene and floral cards. For this weeks card for Time For Tea Designs I decided to do some repeat stamping and emboss resist techniques.

I used the ‘Fries Before Guys’ stamp set. To start the card I took a piece of white cardstock and the fries stamp. I took my embossing pad from Wow and stamped out the image repeatedly over the background. I then took Wow super fine white embossing powder and covered the images, tapping off any excess powder.

I then took my heat tool and melted all the powder. Once the card was cool I took my Distress Oxide inks in Candied Apple and Squeezed Lemonade. With a blending brush I added the ink in random places all over the background. Once the whole background was inked I buffed the images with a clean cloth to bring back the white of the ink.

I wanted to add some extra interest to the background so I took my favourite…. yes you guessed it.. Gansai Tambi starry colors watercolour paint and flicked some gold all over the background. I just can’t help myself!

I stamped out the sentiment using the same white embossing on a piece of black cardstock. I adhered this with a piece of foam tape. I then trimmed the panel a little and adhered it to a white card base.

Thanks for dropping by.
