Snail mail card

Hello.

I hope you are well. We have had a mini heat wave this week but today it is back to rain.

Today I am sharing a card using one of the new A7 clear stamp sets from Time For Tea Designs called You Snailed It.

I started the card by stamping my images on to Neenah classic crest solar white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo black ink. I also used images from the Moovellous stamp set to make the scene. I used Copic markers to colour the images, cut them out and set them to one side.

Next I worked on the background. I took my card base and a blending brush and gently blended some Salty Ocean Distress Oxide ink on the bottom of the card fading out to the centre. I then placed the unbe-leaf-able stencil on top and repeated the process with the same ink. This leaves a subtle pattern in the blue area. I then lightly blended some more Oxide inks from the top of the card. I used Pickled Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin and Squeezed Lemonade. I then stamped the sentiment to the centre of my background in black ink.

I die cut a grass border using a die from Honey Bee Stamps from a piece of white card then added Oxide ink Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron.

I used a tape runner to adhere the grass border and all the images and this completes the card.

Thanks for dropping by.

Katrina.
