I made 3 shaker cards using the sparkle blends. This first features Cafe Au Lait, which fitted in perfectly with my idea to make frames using the Lawn Fawn ‘mini picture frames’ dies.

To make the card I first worked on the front panel. I die cut 3 frames with the dies from the panel and 3 framed for different gold cardstock. I adhered the frames to the front of the windows. I turned the panel over and covered it with a piece of acetate. I then flipped it back over and adhered the Lawn Fawn critters which I colored with my Copics and die cut. To make my shaker I attached 3 layers of foam tape on to the back of the panel making sure the areas around the windows were secure so the sequins could not escape! I then places some sequins in each window. I placed my card base over attaching it to the foam tape to complete the card.

The next card I made using the sunshine sparkle blend. I used a stamp set from Newtons Nook called ‘Peony Blooms’ for the floral image which I stamped and coloured using my Copic markers. I cut it out and attached it to my card panel which I stanped with brick background. I die cut a sentiment strip to make the shaker window for this card.

My third card uses the Springtime sparkle blend. It was perfect paired with the cute bunny form Simon Says Stamp. I blended some Distress Oxide ink to make the background and made a large shaker window for this card.
