Tree decorations

Hello friends. I hope you are well.

I have been a bit quiet lately as I have been finishing some coursework which I have been doing for work. It is now all finished so I can now put my spare time back into crafting! I have also been over on The Little Paper Tree blog with my Design Team makes too.

Last year I made some tree decorations from wood slices and decided to make some more for this year.

I used images from the My Monthly Hero set which you can purchase or subscribe to by visiting the Hero Arts store online.

I started by using my Memento tuxedo black ink to stamp the images onto the wood using an acrylic block.

I masked off the edges of the wood where I didn’t want the ink to go using a bit of masking tape.

I then used Prismacolor pencils to colour the images. They are a little frustrating to use as the break easily and my white has nearly come to an end. I do love them though as the are like butter. So smooth when they go on.

I used a Sakura pick a move on 03 pen to sharpen up the black lines where needed.

Once coloured I used a drill to make a small hole at the top and threaded twine through and knotted it to create the string for hanging.

I hope you like them. Which one is your favourite?

Take care for now.
