Hello. I hope you are well.
Today I am sharing my safari card.
I used lots of distress ink and a stamp set from My Favourite Things called Safari Party.
To start I used the stitched hillside dies from Lawn Fawn and the grass border die from Honey Bee Stamps to cut the shapes for the background from watercolour paper. I used Distress inks to blend these and the sky.
Next I coloured the cute critters from the Safari Party stamp set and cut them with my scan n cut.
The birds were from a different MET set they were chicks which I coloured to look like parrots as I wanted something to go in the sky.
Once I had all my pieces I started building the scene by layering the background then tucking the animals in place and securing using my tape runner.
To finish off I stamped two sentiments from the stamp set.
I hope you like the card. Thanks for dropping by.
I am currently taking part in the daily marker 30 day colouring challenge.
