Sunset card

Hello crafty friends.

This week the sun has finally returned after what seems to have been a very long winter. So I though a bit of beach scene ink blending would be a good choice for this weekend’s crafting.

I took a piece of 6 x 6 watercolour paper and selected distress inks in sunset colours yellow, orange, pink, purple and blue. I masked off the sky area and worked on that first then added the sea and the sand.

I used a white gel pen to add some waves along the edge of the beach.

Next I used a very cute bunny stamp from the Honey Bee Stamps set Blah Humbunny. I stamped in with memento tuxedo black ink and used Copic markers to colour him in.

To finish the card I used sentiments from the same honey bee stamp set masking the word blue from blue Christmas and the without you sentiment. I used white embossing powder and heat set it.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are enjoying the sunshine where you are.
